What we're looking for

TSUNAGU Project is seeking a passionate and experienced Cafe Manager who is curious, hands-on and genuinely enjoys creating great experiences for both guests and the team. You will play an important role in leading the cafe, maintaining our standards and becoming a familiar part of the local community.

Ideal skills & requirements

  • 3+ years experience in hospitality, with management experience preferred
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Attention to detail and high standards
  • Passion for food, coffee and hospitality
  • Ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Organised, reliable and proactive
  • Strong problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing day-to-day cafe operations and service
  • Leading, training and supporting the cafe team
  • Managing staff rosters, performance and daily operations
  • Maintaining high standards of food, beverage and customer service
  • Managing stock, ordering and supplier relationships
  • Monitoring sales, costs and overall venue performance
  • Maintaining a clean, organised and hygienic environment
  • Handling customer feedback and resolving issues
  • Ensuring opening and closing procedures are completed
  • Working closely with the design teams on promotions and initiatives
