About FOH Staff
Key Responsibilities
Guest Experience
- Welcome and seat guests with warmth and professionalism.
- Deliver attentive, friendly and efficient table service.
- Explain the menu and provide food and beverage recommendations.
- Manage reservations, walk-ins and guest enquiries.
- Handle guest feedback and resolve concerns professionally.
Restaurant Operations
- Prepare and present dishes for service, ensuring each meal is plated and assembled to restaurant standards before being served to guests.
Administration & Operations
- Prepare the restaurant before service and reset between sittings.
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the dining room, bar and service stations.
- Process payments and operate the POS system accurately.
- Conduct stocktakes of beverages, retail merchandise and service supplies.
- Restock service stations, beverages and guest amenities.
- Support opening and closing procedures.
About You
- Previous hospitality or restaurant experience.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Friendly, professional and team-oriented.
- Able to work efficiently in a busy environment.
- Available to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.
About Kitchen Staff
Key Responsibilities
Food Preparation
- Prepare ingredients according to recipes and chef instructions.
- Assist in preparing tempura and other menu items.
- Ensure consistent food quality and presentation.
- Support efficient kitchen service during busy periods.
Kitchen Operations
- Maintain food safety and hygiene standards.
- Clean kitchen equipment and workstations throughout service.
- Assist with opening and closing kitchen duties.
- Receive, rotate and store stock correctly.
Inventory & Maintenance
- Conduct stocktakes of food, beverages and kitchen supplies.
- Monitor stock levels and advise supervisors when replenishment is required.
- Minimise food waste through proper preparation and storage.
- Assist with maintaining kitchen equipment and cleanliness.
About You
- Previous kitchen experience is essential.
- Passionate about Japanese cuisine and hospitality.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Able to work well under pressure.
- Reliable, punctual and a team player.
- Available for evenings, weekends and public holidays.
